10th European Biophysics Congress (EBSA 2015)
taking place in Dresden from July 18-22, 2015.

EBSA Bursaries for the 2015 EBSA Congress
Can I remind you that Applications are invited from young scientists from the EU area who wish to attend the EBSA congress 2015 in Dresden or a satellite meeting thereof. Eligible applicants are Ph.D. students registered in the EU area and Postdoctoral fellows working in the EU area. The bursary is to be used to contribute to the cost of accommodation and registration. Applications must be received by February 15, 2015.
EBSA Awards for 2015
The 2015 EBSA Young Investigator’s Medal and Prize will be awarded to Dr Iva M. Tolić (Ruđer Bošković Institute, Zagreb, Croatia); The 2015 Avanti Polar Lipids / EBSA Award will be awarded to Prof. Antoinette Killian (Utrecht University, The Netherlands).
EBSA General Assembly 2015
The General Assembly will be held at the EBSA Congress in Dreseden on Monday 20th July in the ICCD Plenary Hall. I would like to invite nominations for the EBSA Executive Committee, and any proposals for discussion by the General Assembly. Both of these should be notified to me in writing by no later than 2 months before the General Assembly, ie by 20th May 2015.
Future EBSA Congresses
We encourage bids to host future EBSA Congresses after 2017. Please inform me in writing at least 2 months in advance of the General Assembly if your Society wishes to bid to host a future EBSA Congress, and if you wish to make a brief presentation of your bid at the General Assembly in Dresden.
The Agenda of the General Assembly, including resolutions for discussion, will be notified to member societies one month in advance of the General Assembly.
European Biophysical Societies’ Presidents meeting
This will be held during the 2015 EBSA Congress, Dresden at 13.00 on Sunday 19th July in the ICCD (seminar room to be confirmed)
